About Us

Still Hope Foundation, Inc., formed in October, 2007, was established in an effort to lighten the parenting responsibilities borne by single mothers throughout the Hampton Roads, Virginia communities.

The Foundation’s goal is to equip mothers with those tools that will enable them to become self-sufficient.  Through the provision of supportive relationships, quality resources, and life-skills training, Still Hope Foundation – a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity – seeks to ensure that every mom receives the opportunity to build and maintain a successful family unit.

Our programs and services are broad (basic parenting skills, continuing education options and financial literacy) and our clientele varies from teen and divorced mothers to widowed women suddenly faced with the responsibility of raising children alone.

We believe that any mother, irrespective of her socio-economic status, can benefit from the guidance and support of our Foundation. Consequently,  a mother’s socio-economic level in not the sole factor used by Still Hope to determine eligibility for our programs and services.  Our services will be all inclusive for “all mothers”.

Still Hope Foundation, Inc. believes that by equipping single parent women with the necessary knowledge, resources, and support system, we can aid them in moving forward to a place of self reliance and sufficiency; thereby allowing them to achieve the ultimate goal of sustaining a successful family unit.
