In Celebration of the 16th Annual National Women's Health Week
The Still Hope Foundation and ARDX Partner to Present
“WOMEN’S WELLNESS RETREAT: MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT”
Whether you are a professional, primary breadwinner, or a stay-at-home mom, every woman deserves a little ‘me time.’ As women, we are natural nurturers—often placing our own needs on the backburner for the sake of our families and those we care about. But you matter too…and so does your health! To that end, we invite you to join the Still Hope Foundation, in partnership with ARDX, for a two-day Women’s Wellness Retreat scheduled for May 15th and 16th, during the 16th Annual National Women's Health Week. The featured presenter will be Dr. Robin L. Smith, psychologist, author, and frequent contributor to Oprah Winfrey's media.
This Women’s Wellness event will help and inspire women like you to make positive changes in every aspect of your life. Throughout this two-day retreat, we will give you opportunities to focus on yourself—mind, body and spirit—as we address some of the physical, emotional and financial disparities that exist among females in a fun, interactive and relaxed environment. Highlights include Saturday’s luncheon keynote speaker—Dr. Robin L. Smith, who is a formidable health expert, and gifted, down-to-earth presenter.
Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve planned… just for you!

TEEN RETREAT FOR GIRLS AGES 13-19
The Women’s Wellness Retreat, is a great way to involve moms and their daughters in being proactive about their health. While moms attend sessions designed especially for them on Saturday, May 16th, daughters can attend age-specific, fun and interactive workshops.
It’s never too early to start talking with our young girls about issues that affect their health. While mom is getting some much deserved ‘me time,’ young girls will be meeting in a separate room in the Webb Center where they can attend their own workshops (all in the same location). Even if mom can’t attend, we encourage you to bring your daughters! Teen girls, ages 13-19, pay a special, discounted registration rate of $15 and, if the teen is a Girl Scout, she only pays $10 PLUS she’ll receive a badge. Registration fee includes a box lunch, PLUS they’ll get a chance to meet Dr. Robin L. Smith!
The teen girls’ sessions will help develop young girls into leaders by attending the sessions that will help them understand practices so they can AVOID many of the sicknesses their mothers and aunts experience, while helping them create a vision for their future. Scholarships are available for families with multiple children.
